Feet of Fines Cornwall: " Oct. 20, 1289. Stephen de Haccombe granted toCecilia, who was the wife of Jordan de Haccombe, the manors of Penpol (Quethiock) and Anton and the advowson of the church of Quethiock, with reversion, in case of her death, to Stephen." Also "Nov. 12, 1234. Robert de Pyl (he seems to have been rector of Torbrian) granted to Stephen de Haccombe and his wife Margery, the manor of Yestanton and the passageacross the Lynher at Yestanton (the Antony Passage) with reversion, ifthey die childless, to Cecilia, daughter of Jordan of Haccombe." The manor passed by marriage to the Archdeknes, and in the same way to the Carews.
[One might guess that Cecilia Archdekne's mother would be Cecilia, wifeof Jordan de Haccombe, but she is shown as being Isabel St. Aubin.]
