Guillaume (CYR) SIRE was born about 1679/80 in Beaubassin, Acadia. He died about 1744. Guillaume (SIRE) CYR settled in the Memramcook, New Brunswich area in 1755 and during the era of "Le Grand Derangement", Guillaume and his family ended up in Boston, Massachusetts and after the war, his widow moved to Miquelon a French Island off the coast of Northern Quebec. Other members of Guillaume's generation, were scattered in Halifax, Nova Scotia (in 1763) and in St. Gregoire de Nicolet, Quebec (in1778).
