Pierre Lejune; born about 1630, married an Unnamed Doucet, daughter of Germain Doucet name unknown. The dispensation of fourth degree of consanguinity granted at the time of the marriage of Claude Trahan with Anne LeBlanc (Rg GP 18 Apr 1746) suggests that the wife of Pierre LeJeune ditBriard, great grandfather of Claude, was the sister of Marguerite Doucet, great grandmother of Anne Leblanc.
The Lejeune males do not appear in any of the popular written publication, prior to the 1686 census of Acadia. Mr. Bona Arsenault, establishedthe Lejeune line in Acadia, with the two sons mentioned below Pierre and Martin with no reference to ancestry.
In his book The Lejeunes of Acadia and the Youngs of Southwest Louisiana: Page(14) John A . Young states that Pierre Lejeune's wife was a Micmac Indian or Metis. So it is possible that Germain Doucet fathered thisdaughter with a Micmac woman.
