In the British Census of 1881, Alfred BOOTH (b. 1852 i.e. age 29) is found to be the head of Homefield Cottage, in South Mimms, Middlesex. His birthplace is listed as being Warwick, England (not Willey, Warwickshire, England). Living with him are his siblings:

Their son James COLE married Sarah BOOTH, who is the sister of Alfred BOOTH. In the 1881 census, Sarah (nee BOOTH)COLE and James COLE are found to be living at Water End Farm near Wheathampstead, Sandridge north of St. Albans.
