Charles DRAKE and his wife Hanna Mary (nee GOULTON) had no children. Charles and his wife, Hanna Mary, raised Philip GOATCHER from the age of 6near Cowansville. When Philip's father died, Philip was sent from England to live with Charles and Charles' wife in Canada. Philip was the nephew of Hanna Mary GOULTON, because his mother, Sarah (nee GOULTON), was Hanna Mary's sister. For more information refer to Philip Richard GOATCHER (b. 11 OCT 1889 in Worthing Sussex, Eng. d. 23 OCT 1944 in Farmborough, QC, Canada). Farmborough is located 5 to 10 miles south-east of Rouen-Noranda, QC, Canada. On two occasions, Philip GOATCHER and hiswife Daisy (nee SULLIVAN) attempted to live with and work on the farm of Charles DRAKE and his wife. Both attempts were unsuccessful. The 5 persons mentioned in this paragraph were all buried in the United Churchcemetery in downtown Cowansville, QC, Canada.
