The WILES family were in Shefford in 1851. I only have the BFHS index,but the family appears to be headed by John WILES, 43, b Haynes, and Sarah WILES, 44, b Eastcotts. The rest of the family is Jesse, 19, Noah, 15, Corrina, 15, Anna Maria, 12, John, 10, Charlotte, 8, Sarah, 5, and Elizabeth, 2 (all children b Haynes).
These would appear to be the John WILES and Sarah COLE who married at Haynes on May 10th 1827.
Sarah COLE was the daughter of James and Maria (nee LINE) COLE. She isnamed as Sarah WILES in James's will of 1855. Sarah's brother, William COLE is my ancestor.
