This Sophie Peine is not to be confused with the wife of William Cummings. This second bride of Benoni Arseneault was found as a six month old child on the beach after a shipwreck at the Islands towards 1815. She was raised at Havre-aux-Maison. (Voir. Harvey, Azade.
