Glad was born in Moose Jaw, Sask, Canada. In fact, she was born at 844 Grey St. in Moose Jaw, SK, which was the house of Alice and Fred WINDER. Alice and Fred were very good friends of Glad's mother and father.

Glad married Albert PAUL. They raised their two boys, Keith and Donald in Mimico, ON, a suburb of Toronto, ON, Canada.

Glad worked as a church secretary in Wesley-Mimico United church in Mimico, ON, Canada. Until it became a United church, Wesley-Mimico was a Methodist church.

She was predeceased by her husband, Albert PAUL in 1991.
