Good to hear from you, yes not long now!

That sounds like a plan, however you may want to think about eating your mail meal out at lunch time, many places do a menu del dia, menu of the day at a set price, you will also be enjoying the best of the weather at the same time, best of the day 12.00-15.00, during Francos dictatorship he made restaurants offer a menu of the day at a reqsonable price, this will include a starter, main and desert and coffee, often with a beer or a glass of wine included for around 12-20 euros a head, this available Monday - Friday only, my favourite and a really nice place to visit is:

Vistamar at Torre de la Horadada about 20Km from the resort, a view of the marina and sea, they charge around €14 address below, a few minutes walk towards the marina there are two ice cream parlours which are good.

Rebate, special occasion great menu del dia, in a stunning setting, check it is open as they often close for holidays in the winter cost €30 each but very good value, many beautiful little dishes and often with entertainment, they used to have flemenco dancers.

El Patio 2, Los Alcazares, great BBQ meat, try the lamb, great on Sunday, loved by the locals, you must book to get in around €20-25 a head excluding drink

Nearer to home in Sucina, Casa del fuego, try the ribs, Distilleria, great cocktails and burgers

The other place that is extremely quirky but fabulous, run by a Chilean guy, again menu del dia, wonderful food with all drinks included €33 euros each, only takes cash is Ottamatua, in Dolres, courtyard restaurant, only open on Saturday and Sunday, must book.[Name] Otomatua	[Mobile] +34 637 50 23 37
