Preventive Maintenance: Check Oil & Start Up every month or so 2. Cannot uncoil frozen cables. 3. 12 volt battery (incl) needs a trickle-charger (not included) 4. Does not run slower with low load 5. Neutral Not Floating Fix: removing the bonding jumper under the generator end cap Questions & Answers Q For this generator, what if the electric powered fan on the NG furnace is hard wired in - does this mean we cannot use this generator? My furnace is the same as yours…it’s hardwired. I bought a 50 amp Reliance Controls transfer switch that can run 10 circuits. This Transfer Switch is installed next to my main home breaker panel. I chose my 10 most important circuits (furnace, sump pump, kitchen/fridge, some lights, internet, etc) and wired the transfer switch. This lets you simple switch back a forth from your generator power, back to the street power easily. A separate plug box is installed on the wall outside my house that the generator plugs into that then feeds the transfer switch in my home beside the panel. Works beautifully, and was a life saver in our recent Christmas Eve blizzard down here in Fort Erie, Ontario. Q I can't find anything about the connections it has. 30 amp twist lock. 40 or 50? or how many 110 The T08072 has the following receptacles. 1- 120V-20A duplex GFCI 1- 120V-30A Twist lock 1- 120V/240V-30A Twist lock 1-120V/240V- 50A Q The specs list this unit as 120 Volts. The connectors shown in the pictures are 240 Volt. Can you clarify the actual amp and voltages that this unit can generate? I am guessing 30 Amps at 240 Volts. Hi Tgif25, yes confirmed 30 amp x 240v. I had my electrician set up a Generlink transfer switch to my house and it was 30amp x 240v Q can you hook up a trickle charger / battery maintainer to the battery to keep it charged? Yes. I haven't done it yet but it is the preferred way of keeping the battery topped up. Q Does this have a 40 Amp plug? I installed a 40 AMPS continuously GenerLink MA24-S and it requires a 40 amp plug. To be honest not sure, below is from the manual contact Firman they have great customer service The large plug 120/240V, 50A – (NEMA 14-50R) Supplies electrical power for the operation of 120/240 Volt AC, 50Amp, single phase. Maximum full load current may be drawn from this receptacle. If other receptacles are used at the same time, total power used must be kept within nameplate. The other plugs 2 120/240V, 30A Twist-Lock – (NEMA L14-30R) Maximum 30 Amp current maybe drawn from this 120/240 Volt receptacle Outlet Cover - Protect the receptacles Q Hello, will this take an autostart signal from my inverter when the battery gets low? Tnx We have thousands of customers using the tri-fuel as emergency backup, some use an auto start when battery is low.
