How to "kind of" Manage Spider Robots and Google

FreeFind is very much like Google and will follow instructions that your website puts in place especially for Google. Read Source 01 for more information about "Instructions for Robots". However, FreeFind is much more user-friendly. You can actually "talk to" the operator of FreeFind. . . Have you ever tried to "talk to" Google or Microsoft? FreeFind has put in place a number of ways that you can control what it does. It is not even necessary to create a robots.txt file at your website.

found by freefind but not found by CTRL-f

In May 2023, a search by FreeFind for "mischianti" found it in two of my articles: 193 and 188. But when I searched Article 188, using CTRL-f, "mischianti" was not discovered. At first, I thought this was an error in freefind, but I was mistaken. I looked more closely at Article 188, more precisely, using "View Page Source" via a right mouse click. I searched the "page source" using CTRL-f and discovered an image named "....-mischianti-......". Indeed "mischianti" was a part of a compound name of an image. Congratulations to freefind. It was not an error, it was a much finer search.
