Pi: Installation of 32 bit Raspbian NOOBS Lite (142)
Steps to install 32-bit NOOBS Lite.
- 1. Label the microSD card, put it in the adapter and insert it in a PC for formatting.
I label each of my uSD cards with a unique number.
- 2. Download imager.exe (for Windows-10) from raspberrypi.org/downloads.
- 3. Install the imager on Windows-10.
- x. (Not Necessary) download NOOBS Lite (Network instll only) into folder 142.

- 4. With imager: select Format, select the uSD card, and click WRITE (takes 2 min).
- 5. With image: select "Raspberry Pi OS (32-bit), select the uSD card and click WRITE (takes 5-10 min, then verifies.)
- 6. Remove the uSD card from the PC and remove it from the Adapter.
- 7. Insert the uSD card in the Raspberry Pi.
- 8. Plug in all the cables (power last).
- 9. Power on (should see the "Buster" desktop).
- 10. Click Next.
- 11. Change or keep the PW.
- 12. Set up TimeZones etc.
- 13. Wait for it to check & update the OS (downloading ....).
- 14. The Raspberry Pi Linux system is ready to be used.
